Newport City Council’s tourism team offers advice and assistance to members of the tourism trade in Newport.

Tourism Investment Support Scheme
The Tourism Investment Support Scheme (TISS) is open to existing and new tourism businesses in Wales.
Support is available to help upgrade facilities and increase capacity where there is a gap in the market.
Businesses are also encouraged to show how aspects of the planned development will directly benefit energy efficiency or environmental improvement.
WRAP Cymru – funding for Hospitality, Tourism and Food SMEs
Under this scheme, your business could receive a 100% grant of up to £50,000 and/or up to £10,000 worth of consultancy.
WRAP Cymru is offering two types of support for small and medium businesses to help save money by cutting the amount of waste they produce, and businesses can apply for either or both.
