Pride in Newport
Newport is our home. From Roman fortification to modern day regeneration, Newport has built a long and impressive history – it is a city that we should all be proud of.
Newport City Council is working hard to make Newport a cleaner, greener and even more attractive place to live.
Launched in September 2007, the Pride in Newport campaign tackles the problems of fly-tipping and litter, as well as a range of issues which impact upon our local environment and how we view it.
The Pride in Newport campaign provides an opportunity for local people and groups to not only care for their local environment and heritage, but to take direct action to help protect it.
Together we can…
Have your say...
Do you know of a local area that has been blighted by fly-tipping?
Help stamp it out by calling us on 01633 656656.
Pride in Newport will not only work towards cleaning up the affected areas, but will also seek to identify those responsible.
Where private land is concerned, we can encourage the landowner to take responsibility for the clean up. We cannot undertake work on their behalf.
