From midday an art station and children’s entertainer will be at The Riverfront Theatre; they’ll be joined from 2pm by Father Christmas who’ll be receiving letters and talking to children throughout the afternoon.
The line-up will also feature a giant snow globe which you can step into and have a photo taken, pantomime cast capers and festive street entertainers appearing along the Wave area into the early evening.
Also returning this year will be the wonderful and popular Bjorn the Bear who is a real favourite. Festive Minnie and Mickey as well Christmas elves will also be popping in to say hello. The Riverfront Café will be open for hot drinks, food and snacks.
At 6.25pm the official countdown to Christmas will begin with an explosive firework show along the river and music from a fantastic band.
