An exhibition of work by members of the Watercolour Society of Wales
The society was formed in 1959 by like-minded artists keen to collaborate and to promote the medium of watercolour painting in Wales. Their legacy lives on with the society holding regular and significant art exhibitions throughout the Principality.
These exhibitions are varied in content and style from landscape to portrait and from the broadest wash to the finest detail, but always interesting and stimulating, showing the life and scenery of Wales in all its beauty and colour. The society strives to keep pace with the ever-changing world of art in terms of style, techniques and new media, and looks to recruit new and emerging talent in Wales.
