The Gallery’s collections of paintings, watercolours, decorative ceramics, contemporary prints, and craft incorporate work by Sir Stanley Spencer, Sir William Russell Flint, L.S.Lowry, Dame Laura Knight, Edward Wadsworth, Stanhope Forbes, Charles Spencelayh, Elinor Bellingham-Smith, Carel Weight, Hans Feibusch, Stephen Conroy and the 19^th century Newport artist James Flewitt Mullock.

As not all works are on display please make arrangements to view before visiting.

Collections

The collections illustrate the changing face of South Wales’s rural and industrial landscape and include donations from the Arts Council of Wales and the Contemporary Art Society for Wales.

Sir Frank Brangwyn, Sir Kyffin Williams, Ceri Richards, Stanley Lewis, Thomas Rathmell, Ernest Zobole, Harry Holland, Peter Prendergast, Shani Rhys James and Gerda Roper are amongst the artists represented.
