Track Accreditation
Accreditation is required should you wish to compete in the track leagues. It is also strongly recommended that you achieve accreditation before competing in any other track event. Accreditation will also ensure that you have the requisite skills to safely participate in any drop-in session.
Accreditation Costs is £15.00 for adults and £8.00 for youth riders (14+ years only). Contact the Velodrome at the address below for details of the next accreditation course.
Track sessions
The Velodrome holds a variety of Track Sessions to cater for all ages and abilities. Newport Velo Youth Cycling club (opens new website) is based at the Velodrome and is open to youngsters aged 8 – 16 years who are interested in cycling.
Fitness classes
The Velodrome has an excellent choice of exercise classes suitable for all levels. Whether you are looking for a gentle form of exercise, want to improve your aerobic fitness and toning or simply want to shed a few pounds you are sure to find a class to suit you. Take a look at our workout timetable, come along, make new friends and above all have fun!
The Velodrome is proud to be the home of Wales first Official Spinning Studio.

The central arena has a 12 court zone for badminton and 2 courts for football, basketball and netball which local clubs are able to book. There is also a Boccia Court available.

There is parking for 120 cars immediately next to the main entrance and major events will make use of the 400 space car and coach park serving the Newport Stadium. Disabled car parking is available in front of and to the side of the main entrance.
