Health and Social Care
We will endeavour to respond to any form of communication within 5 working days
Newport City Council’s Social Services offers support to all kinds of people in a wide range of circumstances. Everyone can obtain information and advice from us, and many people receive further help.
We help to look after and protect vulnerable elderly people, children in need, people with disabilities, carers of all ages, people with learning disabilities, mental health problems and those with alcohol and drug problems.
We also work closely with the police and other agencies to protect people from harm.
