Air Pollution and Quality

The Council deals with local enquiries, such as reporting pollution in Newport. This includes concerns relating to the smell of gas, petrol, fumes and smoke from chimneys. Applications for an Air Pollution Licence are also dealt with by the Council who can be contacted for any of these issues on (01633) 656656.
