LOOKING FOR CHILDCARE? FIS CAN HELP!

If you live or work with children or young people from birth to age 19 and are looking for childcare, information about early year’s education, activities for your children or parenting support, Newport Family Information Service (FIS) is here to help.

We offer a ‘one stop shop’ via freephone 0800 328 84 83 with answer phone service, email and also via our online enquiry form. We have a variety of free leaflets and booklets on subjects ranging from behaviour management and family support to working with children as a career option.

Being a parent can be the most rewarding experience, however children do not come with an instruction manual! Every child is different and at every age we are faced with new challenges, rewards and situations. There is no such thing as a perfect parent and we all need a little help and support at times.
